Has anyone had any creeping problems with the fc hks manifold and hks standard wastegate?


i'm running a t04s .96 on a large street ported motor. I'm having creeping issues using the hks standard gate with the 10psi spring. It would go up to 14-15lbs during higher rpms. Then when i would raise the boost to 14-15, it would go up to 17-18.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any problems like this and what did they do to fix it? Just upping the size on the wastegate?

 

I had that exact same setup--same turbo, manifold, and wastegate. I experienced the same problems you are having. You need to sell the HKS wastegate and get a tial wastegate. I think a Tial 46 will work with this adapter: http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/me...egory_Code=BCS



I'm not 100% positive it will work, but that was what I was going to run before I switched manifolds.

 

I have seen a couple people using the Tial 44mm with good results on the HKS manifold.

 

The Tial 44 ("V44")is the vband one. It's not going to work with that adapter plate. The flanged 46 is what you want, "F46"
