Lightbulb Experts needed! Turbo oil cooling?

Ok here it is. I have a 12a SP currently with all the emissions jacked. I am in the process or turboing it. I have already purchased the t04s 60-1. The problem is I don't have the 12a setup currently for a return line. I just thought this up last night when I couldn't sleep. The question is I have been eye balling the upgraded omp that allows you to have a seperate tank with 2 stroke oil. Here is the link http://www.rotaryaviation.com/oil_in...p_adaptors.htm Is it possible or wise to setup the Turbo oil cooling system using this omp? How would you do that you ask. Well my thought is to have the pump pull the oil through the turbo and then into the carb. My first concern with this maybe is that the oil doesn't cool as well as it burns and also if the turbo is setup to pull oil then wouldn't the two be working double time. Well it's just a thought! Let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance, Bob

Here's a few reasons why I don't think that would work:
- having the pump suck oil through the turbo seems certain to have priming problems
- The OMP pumps a variable amount of oil that is very light at low throttle, so you may starve the turbo under light throttle
- I doubt the OMP pumps enough oil to satisfy the turbo even at its maximum rate
- hot oil coming out of the turbo might be too hot and/or too foamy for the OMP to pump it effectively

I wouldn't try it.

Thanks Max! That makes sense now that you pointed it out. That's why I post. To get the good answers to the stupid questions. Cheers.
