Exhaust restriction opinion?

Just curious what some of your guys' take on this exhaust may be.. the Tanabe G-Medallion. I bought this exhaust a couple of years ago in the hopes of quieting down the volume, which it has done just fine.. but now that I am more heavily into datalogging and tuning the car properly I'm wondering how much of a restriction it is creating for me. The car does not have a huge turbo, just a TO4E (60 trim, .84 P-trim hotside) on a stock port 13B-REW...however the mid-range on the car close to 1 bar is excellent, pins you back hard...but the top end is just not what I would expect and I find myself pointing at the muffler on this exhaust.

Just for reference in the picture, the inner metal piping/ring you see inside the tip is 80mm (3" +/-), which makes the actual opening for the exhaust gasses inside the muffler appear 2.25" - 2.5" by eye to me. Any thoughts on whether or not this is making a significant difference for me? Intuition says it would..

I've been considering just replacing the muffler as the piping itself is very nice and plenty big, been looking at a new Magnaflow racing muffler specifically:

Or possibly a Borla XR-1 sportsman oval muffler.. I guess I am just wondering out loud if this is a waste of my time and you guys are my sounding board.

Thanks for any opinions.
