SC Exhaust Porting

Hello im doin a rebuild on my 13b for my FC.. not sure if its a S4 or S5 but i have the engine ot of car and down to just the block. Im gonna do a full bridgeport, and port the exhaust. Considering im goin to be rnning a Hx52 or Hx55 depending what i come across. I was thinking Pineapple Racing Ep3a exhaust, and pineapple bridgeport for FC.. but should i use racing beat templates? Im hoping for 500hp on pump gas, and not somewhat of a dd. although i have other vehicles to drive also..Im going to make my own Manifold for better spooling also im a certified welder and have all my own tools.

First off, what will the car be used for?
Comparing my FD RB templates to the PA medium templates, the RB are for lower and mid power and the PA are for middle and high power.
Do not know if the same logic applies to the FC.

Contact one of the major companies for their knowledge.

Agreed. Stock exhaust ports have a small lip all the way around. It's believed this lip provides an anti-reversion effect which helps more exhaust energy get into the turbo and lets less of it back into the engine.

j9fd3s provided one example of an FD race team with two engines. Both had streetporting of the intake ports. Only one had ported exhaust ports. The other had stock exhaust ports. The engine with stock exhaust ports made more power!

also, maybe you should look into doing a semi Pport, it seems like everybody is doing it nowadays, and you can just leave your intake and exhaust ports alone, and the semi Pport is fairly easy to have done. so the idea is that you have a ton of air flow from the semi Pport, and you keep alot of torque because none of your intake or exhaust ports are ported.
