i have a HUGe streetported motor with around 5,000 km's on it now.... two piece apex seals...

im getting microtech next week.... keeping the stock turbo and top mount for now...

but i was thinking of going with a cast hks or ebay manifold, with a garret t4 60trim compressor... and a front mount obviously

im worried about how long the motor will last in the 350-400whp range...

i wouldnt high boost around all day, but i want it there, know what i mean?

so how many miles have u guys put on your motors with that much power?

my motor isnt dowled... ive been told that with a non dowled motor, to not go past 300-320whp area.... because the motor just wont last more than 10k miles... or something like that...

any advice?

the motor can last anywhere between 1 mile more and ruffly 50k miles more. Depends on how you treat it. Also depends on your tune, and it depends on the condition of all your parts.

 

Who would tell you garbage like that? Probably a V-8 guy
