Does anyone know what these Chinese manifolds are a copy of?
I bought a single turbo kit from a guy in Texas and it came with one of these s**t manifold.
It has cracked after 2000 miles.
I would like to source an original quality manifold to replace it so I can continue to use the the existing downpipe.

Depends on which one you have. There are a few copies, one of which I know is a FEED knockoff. Most people have used the Ebay manifolds to varying degrees of success with reworking the welds and adding some bracing.

Thanks, yeah it looks like the FEED one. Do you know if the Greddy t88 header is similar as I,be been offered one second hand.

yep, pure lazy. Can't be bothered to cut the hole so just blast through the runner with the welder!
Real cheap S**t knocked together by kids in china.
I realy want to get a better quality manifold as this is made from tube about 1mm thick. Sounded really tinny on my street port.
Is this a copy of the FEED item or the GReddy?
Anyone know where I can get a genuine manifold for a good price?

 

Oh wow, did you have any boost problem with that manifold?

 

Yes, the car suffered boost creep/ spike at high Rpm.
The wastegate runners didn't flow enough gases due to the small holes into the main runners.

I had one of those ebay mani worked just fine for me. Looks more like the greddy manifold. Do a google search.

 

I have had a lot of luck running ebay parts on both my rx7s. have yet to see anything fail. Its a mix bag with ebay though.
