funny ebay turbo kit story:

my friend installed a $700 single turbo kit in a civic recently. the kit came with all chinese knock-off parts - big single turbo, huge intercooler, all the piping, hoses, fittings, wastegate, bov, etc.

after a week the owner blew the motor. ordered a new piston kit, put it all back toegether and made 525hp on the dyno.

haha ebay kits work...who knows for how long though...and i definitely wouldnt trust one on a rotary.

I bought my first single kit off this guy. I cant comment on the turbo as mine was different and I didn`t use it. I was told it was a T04R but it wasn`t, not even close size wise so I sold it and bought a gt42 (real).

Manifold is the only part of this kit still being used now.

All of the important parts are knock offs like the wastegate and blow off valve. My buddy had a HKS style wastegate. Needless to say at 24psi the wastegate still didn't open causing him to pop his motor. You either pay now or later,

this guy who sells these kits, has a 350 blown rx-7.. i forget the web site his car is on.. he's a real good guy, as for the kit, its pretty much like a body kit, a knock off c-west.. well.. these turbo kits are knock offs of greddy.. as for how they work, i dont know.. i thought about getting one, its just, the, "What If's", u know, there are to many possiblities of them not working or having them tuned wrong, or u know, so many things.

and i agree, nice sig..
