Anyone knows, the psi drop on the greddy 3 row ??Thinking to just go the easier route .
Finding an alternative is really dificult when you don't know the quality of the intercooler core. Sean, you have any input on this. I was planning on trying one of the 30.5x12x3 for my 550whp project. Any insight on all of this Sean. aka.ZEROR?Or anybody.. Sorry for jumping on your thread nkeehn.

Any one use the SMIC intercooler?

I was thinking about this one but not sure if it will fit under my hood? I'm using a scoot hood?

I sold my XS 24*12*4 cose it is too big. Smic XS IC is too bad for good air flow. I made custom IC by Bell-Coolers for my JC Cosmo. Approx. 685 bucks in Russia.

"Maximum Boost" is one of Corky Bell's books on turbocharging systems. For the uninitiated, the book explains in proper depth the engineering and physics of turbocharged engines.
The verbiage requires at the least a remedial cognisance of applied engineering for complete understanding of the terms used, but then again, proper turbocharging involves more than just a "bolt-on" process to get the system to perform at its peak potential. His knowledge and experience in written form is an invaluable tool to truly understanding what the snail and $300 piece of aluminum are doing under the hood, and if they're doing it properly, and his explanations of why certain designs are better are logical and equally as valuable. Nearly all aspects of turbocharging, from heat expulsion to understanding compressor maps to choosing the proper turbo to intercooler design to system testing, and even internal system aerodynamics are discussed in proper detail.
I recently read in another thread the question:
" What's the best STREET turbo? (for a 13B) " And someone replied, " T78! "
...
This book is highly recommended for those who feel a T78 is a good street turbo for a 13B.
It's also recommended for anyone who's interested in acquiring Corky's decades of turbocharging knowledge without spending decades of experience learning it.
I read the book twice about 4 years ago.

I gotta say I've read Corky's books and don't hold what he says to be the "Rule". A. Graham Bell's Forced Induction Performance Tuning is a great follow up as he gives a second perspective. Alot of what Corky (Bell #1) says in his book are his practices and sometimes do have alternatives. A. Graham Bell (Bell #2) took race team and speed shop practices published them and many of their findings don't line up though both are probably right to some degree.

I just purchased one of those exact kits. However, I'm going to adapt it to a 2nd Gen.
Once it arrives here in Australia, I'll let you guys know of my results. Putting in a manual steering rack first though. This piping should be quite short.
