Ran into the owner of the Black FD today and his latest update is that they retuned the car and he is now making close to 900 HP to the wheels...

When I asked about the race against the Evo, he states that they told him they were working on the diff.... don't know if he's telling the truth or just running from backing up his mouth...

Guess time will tell....

The evo been ready for over two weeks now.

Facts:

talked to alex just to get the 411 to know what the hell is going on with the evo & the 7.

First of all Mike i need you to pm me your # so i can give it to alex cause eventhough im setting up for him hes got no way of contacting you to know what/ where/ when this is happening.

The rumors about the car making 800-close to 900 is bull. the car runs on e85 and the same numbers are the one i gave you. the final numbers are around the 740 mark (dunno what lbs of boost)

and last the car is unmovable since they still have yet to put the new rear end from the one that they blew, once the rear end is there then we can discuss about the race. until then were on hold. Alex has been really busy with the Datsun & other cars that hes not focused on that car now. Besides the owner needs to get the rear end first = $$$



However if my car is finished first then i wouldn't mind running the evo. otherwise ......

This "rumor" was from the owners mouth himself. I ran into him on Saturday when I was looking at a 3rd gen he was trying to sell to my sons friend. So if he wants to spread smack about his own car then he needs to be able to back it up. And yes, he informed me that he was installing a TII diff into his 3rd gen.
I have nothing to do with his car or the Evo so I am only passing on the info he himself gave me..... If any false info was given it was by the owner himself, I was merely passing on the updated HP figures for this saga...
