Ducting with a FMIC
Just bought the new koyo n-flwo and a Greddy HG R 32 fmic. I am wondering if anyone sells any duct work to seal everything off or what ideas people might have. I did search bust most duct stuff on here is about a vmic or smic. Thanks.

what do you need ducting for? You just prop the radiator up behind the FMIC and your good to go. That is one of reasons why the FMIC is considered to be the worst intercooler setup because your not getting much air to your radiator. Make sure you have the stock undertray or you will loose a lot of air.

That is why ducting is so important, the little air the front mount lets pass through, i dont want to disperse anymoe than it has to, ducting is important here just the same as it is important in any application, airflow.

18 - 20 ga 5052 -H3 some 1/8" pop rivets, construction paper and something to cut the paper and aluminum with and you can do it all your self.. add a bender and notcher if you want to get fancy.. but a little time and forethought you can do a good job yourself. I put all my new apprentices through this test to see if they can think ahead and work in 3D.
And it's one of the fun jobs in fabrication..

For improved air flow:
(1) remove the two plastic pieces on the sides of the radiator inlet.
(2) remove the plastic piece in the center of the rad inlest that supports the lower surface of the rad inlet and install a single or double shark inlet support.
(3) make ducting to close off air flow leaks and /or redirect air flow.

your best bet is to build a new undertray out of that alloy sheet stuff. If i have you linked right you have jack's old car. i will be doing this next year as well but i now conroy and Kyle both made their own undertrays and only say good things about them and there some what cheap too.

Im switching to the 99 spec bumper and I believe shineauto project has a new undertray for that bumper, I guess my main concern was where to stuff the a/c condenser, and if I should put the ducting on the sides of the intercooler and radiator.
