I see that all of you have posted less the 300 times.
I have been here for three years and have owned my R1 since June 1992. Use to be on the old RX-7 list back
over 5 years go.

One of my good friends has a 50 shot dry nitrous system that has been running great for three years without problems on his mild street port stock non-seq turbo engine.

What is you reason or experience to put down a dry system?

I dont know if this is true or not, so dont f**kn flame me for being "wrong". Isnt a dry system just n20 and a wet is n20 and extra fuel? Thats just what I heared.

At the nozzle, yes. But dry systems typically bump fuel pressure to add additional fuel, rather than injecting it with the nitrous at the nozzle.

I'd go with a wet, that way your not relying on your injectors / fuel pressure tuning to add the fuel. Its much easier to jet the fuel and you don't have to worry about injector size and such. But thats just my opinion.

cewrx7r1 - In case you didn't know Post count does not have a direct connection with your IQ number. I've had 10000's of posts on a multitue of boards, and i'm an authorized NX, NOS, and ZEX dealer right now. Just because i only have 100 posts doesn't make me an idiot. And I've seen plenty of people with post counts in the 1000's say something completely moronic.

Only downside to wet is that you have a combustable charge outside of the combustion chamber that can tear alot of things to shreds (intercoolers, intakes, hoods, etc) should you have a backfire on the juice. Its a pretty rare occurance, but a valid issue nonetheless.

Just don't get off the gas then right back on it and you should be OK

Kaotic Dan,

No one equated lack of post to intelligence. It has to do with experience and also learning.

Most very low post levels are newbies and greenhorns.
Very high levels are usually post ******.

Looks like you have an inferior complex, and 10,000 posts. After all, look at you name "KAOTIC", that says it right there.

theres know need for flaming anybody ladies and gentlemen Somebody just wanted to know whether or not to use dry or wet.
How harsh is n20 on a rotary? Im interested in using it also. I was thinking like a 50 shot to spool up the turbo and have the nitrous cut off by 5 psi or so.

Sounded to me like you were dissing everyone who responded because of thier low post count. It pissed me off. My post count reference was just to prove a point..... inferiority complex??? Hah. And what the hell does my SN have to do with ANYTHING?
