double springs for apex seals?

AJC13B: Composite chrome moly seals !
Who in Canada is manufacturing them? -if you don't mind...
first time I heard of them...

GMonsen: the tips on the Mazda seals are also round as in the drawing...even when new.
did any of the Hurley seals break or cracked when the springs collapsed ???

How do you go about increasing oil flow to the rotors ?
I'm running an FD oil regulator but the oil jets are stock with the spring/ball set up. I tried the Mazda Comp oil jets awhile back *but* since I drove the car everyday oil consuption was a problem.

Crispeed> When we pulled the turbo and manifold off, we found a bit of metal a bit bigger than a bottle top curled up in the runner to the turbo. When it curled up and broke off, it may have blocked the exhaust port for a moment, or maybe even for a little while. Without having my head in the exhaust port, we will never know!

I just thought about it and maybe the 'flap' did curl into the engine, as the apexs were scratched along with the actual rotors themselves, right in the middle. I have pics, I will have to find them. The pics are of the tips of the rotors where the scratches are and of the carbon scoring on the sides of the rotors.

Boostn7> Well thats what my engine builder told me they were! Apparently they are a step below the Ianetti seals...NFI as to who makes them, same as Ianetti? Where are those guys?

On the topic of this thread... would someone be able to share with me some details as to what "Proper Clearances" are?

I am building a 3rd Gen 13B with 3mm Hurley seals to run 25psi.

Stock 2mm seal clearances are 2-4thou with 6thou wear limit (from memory.)

Would "Proper Clearances" for my application be closer to 2thou or is bigger better?
