There's a debate as to where to hook up the lines that lead from the OMP injectors. On my last setup I had them run to my compressor inlet. Yet, on my new 42r setup I have them simply hooked up to a tiny air filter. Some people say they need filtered air and some people say they need vaccume to pull on them (hooked to the compressor inlet). I've already verified that filtered air without vaccume allows them to inject oil into the housings. You do what you believe

They need filtered air. You can pull from the compressor inlet, or you can have individual filters for them. Either way works fine.

you can also leave them open, there is a chance they could pull in some dust but its quite minimal given their location. While you're in that area, hook a vacuum hose to each one and see if you can suck air through them if you can then check valve inside them is messed up and the oil injectors need replaced or a check valve put very close to them. Otherwise you will end up either a mess, or burning oil. You should be able to blow through them but not suck air back.
