differences between FD and FC turbo manifolds?

What are the differences betweent these two manifolds?

The blocks are relatively the same with different intake manifolds. Can an FC manifold be used on a FD for a T04s?

Thanks

if you mean can a TO4S be mounted on a STD T2 manifold I'd say No becouse of the Clearance of the Engine, Its not it wont fit to the Engine rather the Turbo will foul the Housings.

But if you mean can the TO4S use a Aftermarket manfold ment for a FC then yes.

Sorry for the confusion.

yes, I am asking if I can use a aftermarket manifold meant for a FC on my FD, in conjuction with a T04s.

Why are there FD aftermarket manifolds for sale that cost almost double compared to FC manifolds?

The pictures look the same.

But the exhaust side looks very similar. Two exhaust ports, same size housings etc.

the only difference I can see, and correct me if I am wrong is the intake side, which might get in the way.

anyways, I appreciate your patience and help

I think you might find that the exhuast ports on the T11 manifold are smaller than an FD's.

Worth checking.

A dude here has a TII manifold on his...

....'93 R1 and for the life of me I cannot understand why. They are heavy, flow restrictive and do not fit well, but he uses it. I also understand he'll replace it w/ an OBX unit for the FD

Also the FC's engine compartment is significantly wider & taller than an FD's A Turbo/Manifold setup for a fc may not fit in the fd engine compertment
