I have two tubular manifold's for my rx7, one has what i guess i could describe as an 'H pipe" between the the two wastegate runners about 5" before they collect for the wastegate flange, other than that both are nearly idential in runner lenght and diameter, flange thickeness etc

which should i use?

Does it actually connect the 2 runners internally or is it just there for support?

 

Answer: Sell them both to me and buy a new one. I think they're both screwed.

 

i dont have a problem selling the one i dont use, being im not going to use it

not sure if they are interconnected, i cant reach the h pipe with a finger, and once i find a flashlight ill find out for sure

Thats probably connected. I've heard an interesting theory that the runners should be connected like that for optimum performance. What are the chances you will noticed a difference between the two? Very slim.....
