the fd manifold would work a bit better I have one on my car. It would work perfect if I had your exhaust housing. I had to make a spacer for mine to clear the intake manifold. I have a 1.15 divided housing.

I had a similar problem, but it was the other way around; the turbo would not cleared the intake manifold. Solution, get two turbo flanges, and have somebody weld two tubes (for both exhaust runners) between each flange. The trick is cuttings the tubes at an angle on one side, once you weld everything together, you will have a flange than is at a flat angle (horizontal) and the other flange will have an angle (sort of like a ramp).

Yeah, it should be a very easy solution for you. Just pick up a different turbine housing and call it a day.
And since you know that your current housing doesn't work with our cars for the most part, why don't you try off loading that housing on Ebay or something? I would think it would sell pretty quick there.

I thought you already sourced a new turbine housing. You're still looking for one? Have you checked with ATP yet? Or you might try getting a hold of Bobybeach on this forum. He is a Master Power dealer.

It sounds like you got the FD one instead of the FC one.
The FC one has more clearance for the LIM.
