damaged turbine wheel
opened my T66 today and noticed all the blades in the back was eaten away, had to happen when i blew the ,turbine must have chewed an apex seal, for all you guys out there you cant notice the damaged blades from the outside, also the turbo would work and spin as normal, you have to open the turbo to see the damage blades,so if you throw an apex seal you know what you have to do.Whose the best source to replace a T66 P trim turbine wheel and a oil seal.

You should make sure that the whole rotational assembly did not get throw out of balance from the chewed up turbine wheel. Best thing to do is to take both the compressor and the exhaust housing off the turbo, send it to a turbocharger specialist and have them install a new turbine wheel/shaft and balance the whole assembly for you.
I can help you with the price on the turbocharger balance and ordering the components. Just PM me.

turbine wheel
Called Majestic they said to take the shaft out and send compressor wheel and turbine shaft alone to them,Turbonetics said to send the whole center section with the turbine shaft and compressor wheel ,seems like i would send it Turbonetics even though they are little more expensive ,oh yeah Majestic accepts no credit card only money orders.Another reason i am going Turbonetics is that i know the lock nut on the compressor side has to be on and tightened and the whole assembly has to be balanced together.

if you get yourself a decent light source, like a small torch ,has to be small in diameter so you can get it and your eyes looking through the outlet you can usually check the tips of your exhaust wheel without stripping the turbine housing ,always try too inspect it this way rather then taking turbine housings off because if you dont know what your up too you can cause yourself some real heartache from breaking retaining bolts if its not a v-band and to the worse case scenario bending the head of the turbine wheel if the turbine housing isnt removed correctly
the best way too remove turbine housings and minimise problems is too heat the turbine housing with a "cool" flame and if you heat it evenly eventually you will be able to lift the cartridge from the housing
if you do find the tips of the turbine wheel have been damaged always make a thorough inspection of the turbine housing for foreign material stuck in there and has'nt made it to the tips ,there would be nothing worse getting your new or reco'd cartridge and put it back together and miss something, use a light and mirror to check it properly
also if you take your turbine housing off make sure you clean the area where the bearing housing /heat shield seats and remove any scale or carbon build up and the cartridge should seat without forcing it ,use a coppercoat or antiseize grease in this area as well ,just a light coating and on the threads of the retaining bolts as well
