Cooling System Mod

Does the engine runs cooler if you elimanate the AC heater core from the cooling system so the water can circulate alot quicker and provide better cooling?

I put in this section because when you go single turbo which means more power, your engine temp will rise from the normal operating temps, maybe not just cruising around (it should run cooler than normal with proper installation and tuning) but when it comes ready to race while turning up the boost or adding extra fuel your temps will surely sky rocket over normal temps. So I am trying every aspect of trying to keep my engine as cool as possible, even though I upgraded my rad and changing other cooling components.

My freind bypassed his core and he is trying to prove to everbody his car runs much cooler because of this mod
I am thinking, the more water you have the better it is for cooling, but is it becuase the water circulation is quicker or it reduces restriction?

Bypassing the core made no diff in my car. If you have it plumbed, you can run the heater on high to combat those really high coolant temps. May get a bit hot in the driver's seat but it works.
