Coolant lines going to the turbo

For all of you who have an aftermarket water cooled turbo center section, how did you plumb it (pictures would be great). I have an s4 lower intake manifold. I tapped the original passage with a 3/8 NPT tap. I want to use SS braided line but it is really close to the down pipe and am worried about melting the rubber inside the SS braided line. Let me know if you guys have ever had problems or have better ideas of what to use. For the return line i drilled the orginal water pump housing passage out with a 1/4 NPT tap, used a 90 degree fitting with a barbed fitting ...It runs pretty straight from the turbo to the water pump housing
