Is it just the noise of the pump that keeps you from running it on the street, or do you think it will wear out to quickly with daily use? I'm not concerned with the noise level on my car but was planning on going with the aeromotive A1000, but if it isn't going to last like maybe a dual setup or a different pump that can flow the same, I will get something else.

I dont know that I would wrap the entire pump like that. Sorry I didnt take any pics before dropping them in the tank but what I did was cut up some fuel line hose and put some between the 2 pumps, then I put a thin run of it around the pump just barely wider than the clamp. This should help keep the vibration down between the 2 pumps.

The reason I wouldn't enlcose the entire pump is because it seems they would have a hard time dissapating heat.
