I dont know that I would wrap the entire pump like that. Sorry I didnt take any pics before dropping them in the tank but what I did was cut up some fuel line hose and put some between the 2 pumps, then I put a thin run of it around the pump just barely wider than the clamp. This should help keep the vibration down between the 2 pumps.
The reason I wouldn't enlcose the entire pump is because it seems they would have a hard time dissapating heat.
