Ceramic coating?????

just wanted to know what the pros and cons are of ceramic coating.

Cost

Pros:
Lowers engine bay temps
Helps keeps pipes from rusting



Think that is about it..

Approxiamtely how much to ceramic coat the exhaust pipes and manifold?
What if you can spray boron nitride on the pipes.

Make sure they know the temps for a rotary. The standard ceramic is only good for 1200-1400. Jet coating or high temo ceramic will work, but I had the high temp ceramic and it only comes in one color-ugly, is what I would descibe it.

I had the mani,waste gate,waste gate pipe, DP, exhaust turbine housing done

I did the ceramic coating route as well. It gives a shiney type of grey color to whatever it is on. The reasons are this:

- no rust
- keeps heat in so faster spoolup
