Can i use foam on water slosh for water injection?

Im rebuilding my 3rd gen and will not use an intercooler.I will be using alcohol/water injection.

I plan on using a 15gal fuel cell with 5 gal. of it being seperated for a water tank.I was wondering if i could put foam in it like in a gas tank to prevent slosh or would it starve the water injection pump?

its not a good idea to run without an intercooler even with the water injection

The purpose of it is to safegaurd your engine from detonating. If you have an IC and water injection and don't tune for the water injection on the dyno but then use it will racing then you have almost no chance to hurt the motor unless your car is tuned wrong or very risky.

I wouldn't suggest using foam. Get a good flowing and reliable pump and mount it correctly to the water supply tank so that it can get water even when it is almost totally empty.

good luck

You can run without an intercooler...but u better make DAMN sure ur WI system is ABSOLUTELY BULLETPROOF! One hicupp (sp?) and ur engine is gonna go pop. Also, i dont think a separated tank is a great idea. why not just get one 5 gal tank for the water, and one 10 for the fuel???

i know this is off topic, but you should definitely run dual pumps for the WI and make some kind of system that will safeguard ur engine. For instance, if theres a fault in your WI system, have it trip a relay that will pop the wastegate/bov via an alternative vaccuum source.
