can i go single with these mods

my twin turbos are now leaking a littl bit of oil and i don't have the money to rebuid them because i want to go with the apex rx6. with just a dp, mp, cb, power fc can i put the apex single turbo in? for some reason i get no shft play with my turbos and it still shows 10 lbs of boost on my boost gauge. before the apex gt spec exhaust was installed and the car was stock i only saw between 8-9 lbs of boost, i figured that was because of the exhaustleak i had. at the same time i will order 1300 sec, bosch fuel pump and an sx fuel pressure regulator. i will kepp stock ic until money rolls in.

It sounds like you're on the right track, but you should really get a FMIC. Your oil leak could due to something simple, like a bad oil line gasket, etc.

excuse my ignorance for not knowing the technical side of the turbo: the leak appears to be just after the shaft housing. what i mean by this is the second turbo when the car is on a lift has dry oil on the housing thaat holds the shaft (the turbine i believe, the part everyone tells you to check to make sure it has no play, which it doesn,t). ther eis a line that feeds oil into the motors housing, when it was rebuilt they use rubber hoses instead of the factory plastic ones, that was the major oil leak and i think that was hat was causing the oil leak at first. it was and when my mechanic took most of the engine bays components to do the silicone hoses he noticed oil on the turbo and told me it has a seal that is leaking oil (he explained it to me properly but i got only a few words in through my thick skull). i will talk to him tonight to give more of an insight on my problem.

probably just an oil seal, my bros car does that too. you can still run them like that, but makes a mess and gives you a reason to go single

Usually if you have an internal oil seal going bad your car will blow alot of oil smoke.

thanx vosko but id o want to go single, i herd that you have others things you might also sell, please pm me.

13bace i only smoke after running the car hard, usully on the highway (happens when i park the car). ito, my mechanic says its a little risky but possible to run the car with a single, but i have to be responsible when driving and also take it easy until i get more mods. i think i might wait alittle and get some more mods then go single (i'm also waiting for another job, yep thats how i'm doing it, working two jobs until i go back to school.)

luigi 94 rx7-badass on the way
