It sits about 1/2" farther forward, but same height roughly. Doable with pie cuts for sure.

Actually, those are very good numbers.

Mainline dyno is the #1 heartbreaker dyno which typically reads 15-18% lower than Dynapac/Dynojet. Not adjustable to fluff the numbers up like DynoDynamics dyno.

That 346rwhp Mainline is easy 400rwhp Dynojet which is great for what 14.5psi boost in my opinion.

Dyno Dynamics cannot be fluffed up. The old ones yes. New ones NO.

Mainline on the contrary can actually be fluffed, they allow you to choose different correction standards including one that will show similar numbers to dynojet.

Idk what is old or new DynoDynamics.

Friend bought his in 2012 and it is easy to fluff the numbers with supplied software.

Here is mine. 8374 iwg. Rebuild stockport. Self made manifold and 3,5" exhaust. v mount, etcetc
Link ecu, tuned it myself. 390hp at 1bar of boost. Full boost around 3krpm on road condition

Confused as to why your HP & TQ don't cross at 5,252RPM o_0

Guessing his hp and tq vertical axis are not the same scale. I doubt he is making the about the same max tq as max hp ~390

O.J 10-14-19 12:07 PM

Yes that is correct. It is missing the scale for torq.
Anyways 390hp 470nm. Pulls great. Engine feels like some modern petrol turbo engine.
This was dynoed many moths ago in Finland.

Good numbers.
Is this on pump gas? 93 octane?
Any meth or water injection?

Curious as well id say in europe would be 98 ron..

What timing you run at 1 bar at lets say 4-5-6-7k? This is spool w turblown long runner manifold and mediul boost actuator. 10*C ambient

On pump gas I am usually around 13 degree advance from 4-6k rpms( peak torque range) @ 14.5 psi( or in your case 200KPA) . You can advance the timing 1 degree per every 800 rpms after peak torque, but that should really be done on a dyno, and not the street.

So everyone is reading your chart right, you are making 14.5 psi by 2900 rpms.

^^ nice; rest of the engine and turbo system details?

Rub20B 01-08-20 02:58 AM

its a Turblown long runner (welded) IWG manifold for an FC. The kit is very nice and complete, especially the inconel heatshields top it off.

The only minor aspect I can give is the oil feed line was a rubber -4 line and had been overtightned, it leaked on the fitting and when I undid the nut from the fitting on the hose side it sheared right off due to the extreme thin wall section on the fitting
https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...4e742dab42.png

. This could have ended very bad if it happened while driving and spray oil onto turbine hsg. Therefore I would recommand users to replace this line with a teflon style -4 hose and fittings (like the brake line hoses).

the engine is a streetported REW with 3mm RA seals and xcessive LIM, adaptronic ecu. turbo has the medium boost actuator. running pump fuel with rice racing pre compressor WI, denso IW31 plugs and ign-1a coils, V mount, etc..

Here's mine. Fd3s Turblown kit 8374 IWG .92 Fresh extend port 3" dump Flex fuel 505hp atw on e85 Struggled to make it boost, actually ended up switching to a dual port actuator and changing the solenoid, still struggled to make boost and end result is as above (pretty close to where'd id want it anyway). Suspect the exhaust is choking it up and that there's still some grunt on the table. Car feels good, if a little inconsistent (putting this down to boost control).

I really need to completely figure out compressor maps! At plain view, its hard to understand how the BW 64cfm compressor (found on the efr 7670, S257 sxe) runs out of flow at high rpm, when the old school garrett 61cfm (60mm found on t04s, 60-1, etc) didnt.

Just a theory, perhaps the EFR is so efficient, lighter exhaust wheel, it's rpm is operating at a higher rate causes the air to be hotter than the T04 60-1? I.E. Higher boost (pressure) is less dense (hotter air) than lower boost (less heat) = more dense air.
