Boost problems after WI kit install

Brief run down of the situation before/after. 2 weeks ago on a Sunday i took my car to the dyno to get some numbers and get the car dialed in. While i was there i put down 350HP on 12-13lbs of boost pressure. I had put the car back together sometime in may/june and had done testing to ensure there were no boost leaks at that point. Durring the day that i was on the dyno i had consistently put out 11-13PSI, never had problems with creep or fall of at high RPM. Left the shop that day and everything went fine, drove the same way up until last night.

So last night i installed my WI kit from brent (AKA Dudemaaanownsanrx7), install went smoothly no leaks with car off or at idle. With his kit it has a boost pressure sensor that is designed to allow the nozzle to start injecting when boost pressure increases to or above 8 PSI. Like i said took the car out last night and the problem i was encountering was not being able to get the car above 10 PSI. It pulled hard up to 10 pounds then just leveled out through the powerband after that. Just looking for some thoughts/ideas on what i could be encountering.

Specs on car.
S4 TII motor
BNR S5 Stage 4 hybrid turbo
Greddy FMIC
Greddy Profec B Spec-2 BC
Microtech ECU
HKS Twin Power
BUR9EQP all around

Thanks
Cory

Pressure test for boost leaks, you probably made some kind of mistake with the hoses. You didn't touch the wastegate arm right?

Otherwise it's related to the boost controller in some way

Will prolly pressure test 2nite. The hoses for WI kit in no way relate to the boost controller or the turbo though. And I didn't touch the wastegate actuator.

I think the Valve on my Boost controller is shot or something it makes a fast ticking noise when i get into boost. But what is really weird is that i swear it was doing the same thing while on the dyno.

The boost controller is supposed to click once the car reaches it's desired boost level, it's just regulating the the boost.

I would also simply just disconnect the WI system, and see if the car goes back to it's old self prior to the WI install.

Do you have any pictures of your setup?

I figured it out, the fittings for the air and water were on the wrong side of the solenoid.

As for the BC solenoid it clicks rapidly, immediatley from 00" of vaccum all the way to where my boost is set.

it's going to click. the clicking is the solenoid cycling on and off as it alternates between supplying air to the upper wastegate diaphragm chamber and then venting it out..
