Angry Boost Leak Testing Troubles

Im having troubles trying to check for boost leaks. I made a pvc fitting to an air compressor and tightened it to my elbow in the intercooler piping.
My boost gauge reads ½ lb to 1 lb, while the compressor is at 15lbs.

***I did this same exact test 1 week ago and the boost gauge read perfectly i had the chance to even find some vacuum caps that were cut.***

Tested with a different boost gauge, still no reading.
Blew into my vacuum line for the boost gauge and it reads 3lbs.
Opened the throttle body (which I didn’t have to do before when it did read)
still nothing.

anyone have any tips on what I could check?
&no there’s nothing clogged on the fitting where air is forced in.

Don't be afraid to turn up the compressor. Just keep turning it up until the boost gauge reads at least 6-7psi. That might take 40-50psi on the regulator if you have a big leak, but that won't hurt anything. Once the boost gauge reads that, listen and feel for air escaping. Spray slightly soapy water around the engine bay and look for bubbles.

Once you have the leaks fixed, you should be able to turn the air compressor up to the point where the pvc tester blows out with a loud pop sound. That's usually near 15psi on the boost gauge.

thanks for the replies, i solved the problem--I didnt even think about air going into the motor having to fill a pretty large area.
i guess the rotors were sitting at the right place before, plus im street ported so the openings are a little larger.

going to get my aspec 500r tuned tomorrow!! woop woop!
