Best way to downsize turbine outlet?

Just purchased a BWS362 (used) and was wondering what's the best way to get the turbine outlet for the downpipe to 3" vband for my downpipe instead of the 4.2 inch vband outlet it currently comes with.

I thought about the possibility of a vband reducer, I'm only worried about down pipe fitment using something like that.

Any other ideas or am I just going to have to get my downpipe reflanged?

Reflange your downpipe, it's the easiest way, and when you change turbos in the future it doesn't hurt the resale options.

Did some searching, didn't really find much on a 4.21 inch marmon flange for the downpipe...

I called Full-Race and they said they'll only do it if I bought it from them.

I figured a quality 3 inch vband conversion could only help value.

Bring it to a mill and have it shaved down to about 92mm, a v-band clamp will then fit. That's how mine was done directly from my bw distributor.

I know what you said is very straight forward but would you happen to have a picture of the end result?

Basically shave the outside edge of the marmon flange until it reaches an OD of 92mm and that's for a 3 inch vband?

Hmm, worries me about the effecting the strength of it but it sounds like a good idea overall.
