Best upgraded differential?

Well I blew my rear today. Funny thing was I wasn't racing, just accelerating from a light. Got on it in 1st, shifted to 2nd, then boom! Nasty grinding and dragging sounds from the rear. I'm almost possitive its the diff. I'll probably drop it in the next few days and look it over. Whats the best upgraded unit? I know there is Kaaz, Mazdaspeed, Quaife, RE-Amemiya, and Cusco. I don't drag race much, but do from time to time. I want something that would work well on the street, road coarse, and drag. I've been in a car with a Kaaz and it made alot of clunking. I'd prefer it to be quiet. My Labreck bushings clunk enough as it. Vosko's RE unit is quiet, but I don't know if I could get a good price on one. I'm tight on funds now too. Any advice?

I think ari uses the KAAZ unit with much success maybe you should consider that or a cusco.

I like the Kaaz a lot. If you get it, make sure you use the Kaaz diff fluid. If not, no matter if you use Amsoil or Redline, it will chatter. I also did thier dumb break in procedure of figure 8's for a half hour. Don't know if it helped, but mine doesn't chatter a bit.

If you want to save some money, I have the stock rear for sale, which is in perfect working condition.

The stock rear will just break. The torsen design is too weak for the amount of power I'm putting down. Thanks anyway.

Nope, sadly no. Thats the main reason I'm upset. I was really looking forward to dynoing again. I'm in no rush now. I'm not going to be driving the car much as winter is comming. I have to decide what to do.

I've got a GT35/40 10, 15 & 20psi dyno session planned yet this fall... Not sure if I'll ever run 20psi on the street...damn, 10psi has been scaring me the past 2 days...I'm sure I'll get used to it though...

Ihor - You wana buy my stock diff (cheap) if I don't explode it before my Kazaa arrives? I hate to see your car down now that you are really starting to enjoy it?

Don't want a stock diff. Mine snapped like a twig on the street. I'm probably going to get a t2 diff.
