Hey! My T-78 is going in next week and I need help with the power fc. Is there a base map you could give me that would get me in the ball park? what maps need to be changed to run the T-78? all of them or just a few? thanks for your help

 

I could give you the fuel maps that are in the pfc but they are only corrections to the base map. If my base map is diff than yours then pluging in my values into your pfc would not yeild the same results. Ray at SR motorsports did the initial programing of the pfc so I am not sure what the base maps are set to. I would give him a call before changing the corr maps. This is unfortunatly one of the drawbacks to the pfc, not being able to see that base fuel map. When you see all these people trading there maps for pfc I think that they are assuming that the base maps are still the way they came from Apex. I wouldent feel right giving you the base maps if they were the exact way that they were sent to me from Ray because that would be like giving away his tuning but sense we did quite a bit of tuning to the car I would be glad to give you the values that we tuned to. But I would want to be pretty sure that out base maps were the same.

I am waiting for my new boost controller to come in... then probably back to the dyno for some high-boost pulls and tuning.

Hey Jim, The car is doing great. I havent raced anything intersting lately. Everytime I see the interesting cars I am in the non turbo 3000gt!!!! I did race my friend with a stealth twin turbo with full exaust,intake boost controller, and a few other things. We went at it from a roll at about 30mph and he took off and got about a 2 car jump but then it was all over. I passed him like he let off the gas!!! When we got back I had to take the guy for a ride because he just couldent beleive how fast it was. But JIm when are we going to rockingham?? I will be up in Raleigh on thursday to help my girlfriend move into her dorm. So when she is in school up there I will be up your way quite a bit so we will have to hook up.

JIm, I am usually working on fri and sat nights. But Sometimes I am able to get off around 10 so one night sometime I could leave after work and get to raleigh about 11:30 if that wouldent be too late to do anything.
