i thought he made those numbers at 15 psi, now its 23?

There are several cars on this forum that have hit 400+ on stock port motors.

Just a little update
Steve Kan built me a street ported motor and came out to tune it again. Still using the aspec kit.

We made (corrected) :
423whp & 340tq @ 16psi
461whp & 384tq @ 16psi on c16
505whp & 446tq @ ~20psi on c16

The "high boost" setting we really just tried to get everything out of the turbo. It had compressor surge around 4500-5000rpm then made it's way up to 25psi and dropped very quickly and held at 20psi. It is definitely a stretch to make 500whp out of this turbo lol.

Do you have dyno sheets or vids? Pretty strong numbers. 3 inch dp?

What kind of spool/response are you seeing on the street?

Btw, I recently turned the boost up to 20 psi on my 500R and the car feels strong and wants more......evidently the larger compressor wheel makes a big difference.

Sure, here they are, and yes 3" dp.
On high boost the increase of 300whp over a 2000rpm span makes it really hard to hook up. It is very fun on low boost still.

Awesome #s , I hope to have similar results with my 3574.

Your AFRs are pretty high, is that considered safe still since you're on c16?

If you look at the a/f on the dyno graph and what my gauge was saying in the video (during the 505whp pull) it does show that it leaned out a little on both, but steve was watching the a/f reading from the dyno not my gauge and I believe the dyno was only showing maybe 12.2 A little lean but relatively safe on c16.

Just my .02, your a/f ratio is too lean up top. Whatever your tuning at, ie..12.5 on your video, when your on the street it will be .5 leaner. So you'll be running at 13.0, thats not good. You'll either detonate or warp your seals. Get a/i and run 50/50 on the same tune and you'll be safe.

first off congrats.

i just spent the day on the dyno... 23 4th gear pulls.

i run 93 octane pump gas and methanol AI.

i made 506 SAE at approx 20 psi. no knock. no drama. we were out of spring or i would have tuned out at 27 psi.
