Apexi BOV on a Single Turbo?

I have an Apexi BOV that I got with the car and am now building a single turbo setup (GT40R.) I am curious if the Apexi blow off valve is any good on a single turbo setup. I would be running it just before the elbow like many do. Everyone seems to be running the Greddy HKS or Blitz, is their a reason no one uses the Apexi?
Thanks.

it's basically Pepsi vs Coke vs RC Cola (or whatever distant 3rd brand of Cola you have locally)

Here's the deal with the Apexi BOV. It basically sounds like the stock CRV or BOV or whatever you want to call it. You get a nice big "Shush" sound out of instead of the "Chirp" or "Call attention to your car sound" of some of the other BOV's.

So..yea the Coke or Pepsi or Virgin Cola is apt...hell...there are people who don't even run a BOV. You will be fine with it unless you have a burning desire to draw more attention to yourself.

Thanks guys, I have been happy with the sound of the Apexi running on the twin setup. I assumed that it was just a personal preference, but wanted to be sure it wasn't something like it was prone to failure at higher boost.
I am trying to keep my car a bit more low profile anyways.
