Anyone using RX-8 stationary gears in 13B?
I hear (somewhere?) RX-8 stat gears should be stronger or have better oiling than stock gears and are interchangeable (and cheaper). Anyone actually using them in 400hp 13B (either FC or FD turbo engine)?
I am just building new engine for my car and i was thinking about using them.

well kinda.i have them but have yet to run them.to use them u need a thrust washer from the S5/FD(the plate thats between the stationary gear and the needle bearing).they look to be a copy of the FD gears(hardened, pinned, grooved, with a multi-window bearing).
hey if they can live at 9k from the factory.i think thats good enough 4 me.
btw,im gonna use them on my big turbo S4.
