Anyone use the Bosch 10208 fuel pump?

So do any of you guys use this pump? I've found a decent price on one and wonder what experiences people have with it. Apparently it flows extremely well at very high psi such as 100 but is just ok at lower psi like around 50 psi.

This would be in consideration for a S4 13bt with a 60-1 running up to 15 psi.

Thanks in advance guys

I have a Bosch 044 in my tank - I believe the 044 flows more than the one you are considering - and it was not sufficient for my 62-1 above 12psi.

Use Max Cooper's fuel calculator to verify before you put it on the car or you may find yourself buying a second pump to supliment the Bosch.
Cordially,
John

Thanks dude. Anyone else have any knowledge or experience with this pump?

Also JBurer, where did you purchase your 044 pump? What hp is it good for? I'll be looking at around 380-400 flywheel hp.

The 044 flows a decent amount. Much more at lower pressures than at high.

If you over-compensate with larger injectors, you can use lower fuel pressures and easily accomodate the 380-400 flywheel horsepower you seek to make.

On a slightly different injector setup (ie. 900 primary/1200 secondary) I made 384 to the wheels with just that 044 pump.

I replied to a PM that I thought was from you regarding the company I got it from. Sorry.

I got mine from "Brits" on the West Coast. Their number is 707 935 3637. They were very reasonable on the price.
