Anyone with a turbo half bridge port?
Anyone on here running a turbo'd half bridge port? I know that Soul Assassin has one, but I want everyone that is running one to reply (You too Soul Assassin).
I need help on deciding what to do with my new engine. I am VERY heavily considering a half bridge port. Right now, I have a to4e 60-1 with .70 on the intake and a P-trim .96 undivided A/R on the exhaust.
I'm considering putting a 1.15 divided housing and a divided manifold on the turbo for this setup. I know that with a bridge, the power comes on late, but is this too big of an exhaust trim for this setup? Should I go with maybe a .81 or .96 divided setup to help with down low power?
What is the power band for one of these engines with a halfbridge port? I'm thinking 4500 - 9000, is that about right? This is going to be a street car, but not a daily driver, except when I feel like it. I'll probably put 6000 miles on it a year or so.

Half bridge is when the secondaries are bridge ported.. and the primaries are street ported...
This is good so you can run a 2 peice apex seal backward and not eat corner seals...
It also helps alittle with the low down power...
BTW Exit13B is the one who has a half bridge i believe..

car gets dynoed this sunday, turbine is a HKS T04R with a clipped exhaust wheel and 1.15 ar, so as you can tell i have no response but when it kicks it kicks hard! lol!

I have a half bridge i did it myself it was really loud,it pulled really hard all the way to 8500rpm. rwhp was about 550 with 27psi with out ice. i think it could make over 600 with proper porting and tuning. i broke one of the end plates ,or at least the dowel did. i may bp again if i can find a way to make it easy on my ears. NO FLAMES PLEASE
oh i have an FD and i am black and no i did not steal it last time i post hear i got flamed because of it,and my grammer i thought i was in the supra forum.

Nah, he is saying that cause he posted his turbo system for sale and a few jackasses without turbo rx7s tried to clown him and say the turbo system was stolen, so he has a right to ask some of you jackasses without a clue not to flame him.

I do not think i know every thing soul assassin,I AM SORRY ABOUT THE 2GEN Quote your car is really nice we have the same rims.Greg you are a good man hope to sell you out there next year. Respect.
My car is in the IDRC street class,fastest car is high nines John sheperd. Crispeed car would be in the outlaw class,with cars like EL ORINGINAL and QUILES low 8 sec cars and he only went 9.2 the Quick class cars go 8.8 So we're both off the pace.

My car is legal for the Quick class if I wanted to run it there but I choose not too!
As for being off pace the only one here seems to be you with the combination you have it should be a lot faster. One of my customer's (BOOSTEDRX7) 2nd gen run low 11's on drag radials at 130mph with a secondary bridge TII motor at 20 psi of boost without the use of NOS and it's producing just over 500RWHP at that boost.

Supras with full interior and beats run low nines.

Anybody can qualify in the outlaw class most of the time they only have 5-6 cars unless its summer slam.
