proboost is still in business with new combos and a lot of fans in Australia so it must be ok. I think for the large shaft plain bearing stuff with modern copies of bw it is hard to argue against them for the shaft speeds that even most e85 or WI cars will run if piston guys at at 60psi+.

Slides the eBay China so-called gt45 are a hit and miss turbo, as so many factories make it and all copy off each other using lower and lower quality parts to compete for the sale, the old china gt45 yes can work but there are so much better alteritves out they, our proboost range has grown for the last 8 years and have them on some of the fastest street, drag and curirt cars out there today, we still offer a great price with all our turbochargers built and balanced in-house here at proboost , the range PROBOOST do is nearly most of the garrett range in gt and gtx from gt28 throught to gtx55 and s300 -sxe480 and sx-e488 and so on .we also do all factory turbocharger rebuilds and perfomance upgrades for customers with braned name turbochargers also , regards grant

CX racing buys chinese turbos and balances the CHRA. Just sayin, I had a journal bearing GT35 and ran it for around 5k miles, zero shaft play, zero smoke.
