Anyone slipping AN OS twin ?
Yep , its slipping the God Damn clutch AGAIN......
, after all my previous clutch problems I aquired a slightly used OS clutch , I had to resurface it , the machinist only taking off .002" though . I bought brand new discs and plates for it , installed everything and now it slipping when I am in second gear from about 6000k rpm (when the bridges get pumpin) and still at only 10psi of boost !!!! and rich a/f ratioc ( i have to retune after the '044 installations). Seems like I wo'nt ever get to tune to 20 +psi of boost.

You have a dyno sheet? How much tq are your making? How much is that OS supposed to hold?
Are you daily driving it and slipping it at take off? That going cause it to "glaze" over and start slipping. Most of the high performance clutches are designed to be droped at take off instead of sliped from a red light, ect. Could that be the cause?
You might try a SPEC clutch, they have a new street clutch that will hold 550lbs of tq and being a street clutch you can pull away from a redlight without dumping it

Best clutch I've driven on was an Exedy twin disk I installed in a customer's car. Very smooth takeup, almost like stock. Its rated to 700 hp. If you need more, there is a triple disk available. I've also driven on a Spec cluch and its a pain in the *** around town. Almost as bad as a 6 puck.
Which Spec clutch were you you driveing? I've got a 4 puck from them that feels like the stocker and has held up for 10K miles so far on my car with no sign of wear. I'm making 350rwtq and over 400rwhp and drive the **** out of it eveywhere. Its supposed to be good for around 450tq or so but like I said they have a new on thats supposed to be good up to 550 and Dave (works at Spec) said it'll feel about like my current clutch
I would like some more info on the Exedy though. How much do they cost?

Doesnt the twin disk have a ridiculously long break-in period? Like 1000 city miles or something? How long have you had it?

I've never really broken in any clutch I've had. I just go easy for 20 or so starts to bed in the material. I never understood why people put a milage number on cluthc break in. The clutch isn't being abraded when you are driving, unless you are shifting. The exedy felt fine from the moment I backed it out if the shop.
Turns out that I had the actuating rod on the clutch slave cylinder adjusted too far out so the clutch was slightly depressed . After looking I found that there is a big leak on the master cylinder so there wasn't complete disegagement when the pedal was depressed , making me keep moving the adjustment out until it was at max.I did find it strange since it came off another 3rd gen but it wasnt working on mine.
So I readjusted it and there is no slippage anymore , I also have to replace both clutch cylinders.
