ANybody use Precision turbo???

Well im planning un upgrading to a big turbo. t66 or bigger, but i was looking at all my options for turbos, and i found that www.horsepowerfreaks.com sells precision turbos, and i was wondering if anybody had any info on them, the seem to be priced fairly reasonable, and come in a vast amount of sizes, so whats the dirt on these bad boys???

Let's just say that you will be hearing more of Precision turbo in the next year for sure. They've been rocking the Mustang world for the last 2yrs. and have now set their sights on the complete turbo market. Noone has the pull and the backing that Precision has.......noone at all. They deal directly with Garrett and do so before anyone else.

This is just my $.02.....but mark my words on this. I'm not wrong

I just talked to the guys from HPFreaks at SEMA. It was kinda funny.....i overheard them asking the Garrett guys if they could bypass Precision. Uh....NO! I don't think he noticed that the car in the booth belonged to Precision. Bad idea buddy

All this crap about SEMA is pissing me off. I was supposed to be there... couldn't finish a big project in time to go.. dammit. I met the Rick from Innovative last year. He seemed like a pretty cool guy.
Don.

Hey, what gives? The compressor housing had an "ITS" (Innovative Turbo), and the exhuast has the "T" (Turbonetics) logo???

Yea, what gives, and why the hell is that in my thread? I was wondering about precision turbo's not innovative or turbonetics, You didn't even post any damn info or nothing, great way to stay on topic.

silver94r2 thanks thats the sorta thing that i was looking for. So would you choose a precision turbo? They seem to be at a decent price, and around the same of turbonetics, so which would you choose.
And why?

damn chris, chill out man. somebody mentioned ITS on YOUR thread and roy (spoolin) decided to show a pic of one of their turbos. a lot of these companies sell turbonetics turbos. . . or maybe just put together what works. i could swear that precision sells turbonetics too. i may be wrong, but that seems to be in my memory. . . oh and turbonetics is garret based so that might explain the comment about precision dealing with garret.

chris, why ask if you arent messing?? something up your sleeve? quit wasting space on this already clogged forum jerknuts!!!! hehe, can i call you later so that we can discuss the common sense thing so that i can figure it out. your using that statement all wrong by the way. common sense has nothing to do with it. you should have made a reference to "hooked on phonics" or comprehension or something. come on man!!!! youre losing it man.

paul

oh yeah, shutup NEWBIE!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The reason that Innovative deals with Turbonetics is that Rick Head (head of Innovative) used to be the head of Turbonetics.

Turbonetics deals with Garrett and gets a better price than ITS.

ITS is now partnering with Borg Warner and will be dealing mostly with KKK and the likes.

Precision has the big inside with Garrett so they will be the main go to people for everyone from now on.

IMO.....yes....Precision turbo is the better of the bunch. They will have the best of the best. I'm not saying that ITS isn't good.....or that Turbonetics will be nothing in a year or two Oops.....did i say that? I'd say that the order is:

1)Precision turbo
2)ITS
3)Turbonetics
4)who cares?

Go with Precision !

Their turbos are assembled to be the best of quality !
Mustang guys(Pro-5.0) and GN have been very happy with their stuff.

Never heard of their turbos smoking or going bad after few hundred miles like others !!!

I have a TE-63/4bolt I purchased from them 3+ years ago and has gone to hell and came back...even ran in an engine which I dove with no oil(cracked plate) 'till it locked....yet, the turbo is still good.
My Turbonetics T-70 became a smoker after 6 months of use!!!

they also sell the 160lbs (1650cc) injectors for $90 flowbenched.

****, stay off the forum for a while to work on my cars and i get damned!! anyways, cocksmoke, i'm sorry for ******* up your thread b/c it doesn't have anything to do with precision. i saw that someone said they were pretty big with the 5.0 guys and thought i would put those pics up. a friend has a honda repair shop in town, but dabbles with mustangs, too......his runs 8.40's. he ordered that turbo for a guy who wants to take the blower off and go turbo. he ordered it from www.proturbokits.com . they sell the its turbos (formerly the turbonetics guy, rick). from what i here, turbonetics quality is slowly declining since being bought.

i tried to post what significance these pics had with the previous info the same day, but it took to long. i don't have enough patience to sit and wait for this thing to submit........or enough patience to keep typing and explaining myself to your punk ***.

thanks for stickin up for me paul

But thanks to all that posted Decent info that atleast had something to do with this thread. I think i might start looking into precision alittle more.
