Any Experience with the T4/GT35 "Blowzilla"

i currently have a t78 and am ready to find something more responsive.

i am looking for a turbo that will deliver maximum hp available (approx. 360-400rw) while getting 15psi @ 3200-3300rpm (instead of 4k).

i have been considering:
T4/GT35R "blowzilla" w.96a/r
T4 60-1 w/.96a/r

if you have experience with either of these please post the rwhp and rpm at 15psi.

thanks
justin

I have a blowzilla with a 1.00 divided A/R. The car has not been tuned yet so I haven't gotten on it, but the lag and spool up feels very similar to my friend's GT35R with a 1.06 A/R. When I step on it at 2300 it will slowly start building boost. Usable boost response starts around 2800-3000rpms. I have a large intake street port with a medium exhaust port. Currently the car has a 3" straight through exhaust, but it will be tuned with a 3.5" system and a 4" metal substrate cat. I am planning on getting it tuned in the first week of Aug.

the .96 housing is undivided, and it will kill all boost response. Try either a .84 or 1.00 divided housing with a divided manifold.

I've just purchased a similar turbo (GT35R compressor and front end with T4 divided turbine housing and 76 mm turbine wheel) to the one spec'd by CCarlisi. I think it's officially spec'd as a TD61 with 1.0 AR. Hoping to make 380 to 400 rwhp at 14 to 15 psi.

Just curious to know how his setup worked out. Tried to PM him, but got a message saying his mailbox was full.

I'm planning to run a large street port, divided manifold and dual 38 mm Tial WGs. If anyone is running a similar setup, please let me know how it's working.
