Another fuel question, for those high hp single turbos

Ok. Sorry for posting this. Just I am not getting what I want with the search. I am a bit confused on which direction I should go with my fuel set-up. So far, I know I will be going with walbro 255 in-tank feeding a surge tank then that out to a 044 in-line. I am going with -8 feed with -6 return. Now here is the part i am confused with. What size should I be running to the fuel rails? -8 to engine then Y off to two -6 lines going to each rail or -8 to two -8 going to the rails. I will be looking around 400+ on pump. I would like to get the appropriate size and not go over board. In addition, yes I will be running water/meth to achieve those goals.
Do you guys have any in-put?

If i were to run the -8 lines to the rails, should I bottle neck the -8 to a -6 FPR?

It should not make any diffrence sounds like you have more than enough volume.

Just run -6 feed and 6- return. With less quality pumps (walbro) they are more likely to burn out with a "load" on them. If you really want unreliability go with a denso aka "supra" pump. I'm going with -6 feed and return with two intank walbro's... Its enough for north of 600whp.

That being said, then I should be fine running the -8 lines from the fuel rails back into the -6 inlets of the fpr. Then -6 return. correct?

All of the aftermarket kits I have seen and dealt with use 6an lines for the rails. Honestly you will not need more fuel than the 6an lines will supply. If you want to use 8an more power to you. I'm just trying to make sure that the pumps feel a pressure drop. I like to think about it as pushing a car and it starring to move haha...

I hope I'm not annoying answering every reply... BUT! It's all how much money/how complicated you want your setup. Some people run surge tanks, some people run twin intake pumps, some run and extra inline pump, large external (eg. Aeromotive a1000's, eliminators).
Will you be tracking your car, drag racing, or being a weekend warrior? There are plenty of setups to use for an example if you provide your application.

My answer of useing 8 an was basied on him saying im running #8, therfore i assumed hes running #8. Its plenty big for over 500 h/p but he wants to ask everyone till someone dissagres. All he really needs for 400 h/p is one #6 Y to both rails and run stock return line. Thats my final answer!!!!

Thank you busted7. but no im not looking for someone to disagree with. Im just trying to understand. sorry for being "annoying."
I'm waiting for someone to respond with something that i understand more. money is not a problem. stock return line on a Fc?! maybe not.
I am willing to go all out, with no half ***. And yes I will be running two pumps as stated above.
my quest for 500whp on pump is still standing. I just said 400+ due to the fact of stock fuel lines are being pushed to there limits.
I would like to obtain that goal the correct way.

dual walbro, dual 6 an, aeromotive fps.... and as mono4lamar said you are up north 600.... dont over kill. #8 is not ideal... the flow will drop, thus allso effecting your presure.... pumps require more juice to fill the #8 then #6.

6 all rounds. i run #6 line per pump. tee ed in the FPR.
