Airpump Compatible EFR IWG Single Turbo System
For those not aware our EFR IWG FD3S turbo system clears the OEM airpump. I recently took a second look at this and realized the bigger 8374 and 9180 with some slight tweaking will work too.
To be clear the photos show fitment with our old welded turbo manifolds, the new cast units have identical fitment.
The airpump does clear with or without the thicker inconel T4 gaskets included in the full kit too.
Also I have heard the automatic airpumps are smaller, and if so they might not require any modifications for the bigger 8374 or 9180.
I am not sure if the OEM belt size will fit, at a rough glance the airpump is in the same position as the maximum adjustment of the OEM tension er bracket on the bigger 8374 and 9180. 7670 I imagine will be able to use the OEM belt just fine.
Also as you can see the 7670 EFR car in the photos has the factory A/C lines.
The EFR 7670 car is NOT going to run this airpump, its just for mockup( hence the idler pulley). Also you can reclock the compressor outlet to give the turbo discharge more clearance, again its just for mockup.
