Question Act Clutch

Anyone running the ACT MAXX EXTREME pressure plate with their high performance street disc on their high powered street car ? , how much power and torque can the combination hold ? also how is streetable is it really ?

I will know as soon as my car is on the road, as this setup is installed in my tranny. But until then I am just hoping for the best

I run their extreme PP with a Racing Beat 6 puck Un-sprung disk. You stall here and there, I wouldn’t recommend this disk for stop and go traffic. But it’s totally street able. You will notice your left leg will get sore/stronger the more you drive.
This PP with a street (sprung) disk would be a great every day clutch for higher hp.


Holds 465 without any issues, and there’s videos of it taking a 7800 dump @ the line and hooks up like it was glued to the flywheel

I use their extreme duty clutch and have somewhere around 400 rwhp, but plan to get some more ponies soon. I hope it will be good upto 500 rwhp. It is very very streetable though.

i assume your talking about the ACT Street/Strip clutch, thats what i have on my car... will it be enough to hold 300-350rwtq ?
