429HP at 22PSI on T78

All,

I dynoed my current setup this Saturday. I made 429RWHP and 387FT Lbs of torque at 6000RPMs. That was the 3rd pull. THey were all around the same HP but the torque was lower in other pulls. The air fuel ratio was about 11.0-11.5.

I was running the rotary performance in tank upgrade pump and that DROPPED significantly after 6000Rpms @ 22psi so I had to let off.

Waynespeed and I spent about an hour on the dyno, he was with the laptop and I watched all the guages so I dont BLOW UP !

Well thats all for now. I will be going back to the dyno soon and I am looking for 450HP with 20-22 PSI.

I know most of you have that already and I am envious!!!

Thumbs up

What are you running on your primary injectors? Also, what was your hp at other boost levels?

For your primary 850's, did you use the factory 850 secondaries?
was there any modding to the injector or fuel rail required to fit them?

I used the factory 850s and yes, you do have to modify the rail to fit them.

Yes!

There was one area of concern, there was some oil on the area of where the intake is, kinda like when you look into the turbo and touch the fins, in that area. Not sure if it was a big deal or not but the turbo is boosting great and no smoking!

Thanks again !

If anyone is buying anything from Allrotor93, good sale, shipped quickly, everything as promised. He did mention that it should run 10s but I only got 11s?

Re: Re: turbo

My friend Dan (last month's Turbo mag) made 475rwhp @22psi with the same setup as you. I'm sure you can probably get close to it if not more. 380rwtq is awesome!!! if your exhaust port is flowing good, you shouldn't have any problems carrying the torque to 7.0krpm before it drops. I think your a/f is a little rich but one of the things i notice is that the dyno a/f is 1 point lower than the wideband I use to tune my car. Maybe you're running within the range. what's your EGT temp on the pull???

Actually Wayne is T and R. He is the only person that tunes Romeo's car. Tony does his own tuning. I tried tuning myself once with SPEEDNYC and that did not work out to well! Waynespeed also tunes my car.

When I made my first pass at the track I ran a 13.8 since the maps were WAY too rich. I asked Waynespeed to give me a hand and he made some adjustments in less than 5 minutes. Next pass with a real shitty 60ft time I ran a 11.5@119MPH. Tuning is everything.

Thanks again Wayne

Waynespeed. PM him. Tony is pretty good with the PFC and I think Wayne as well. I know T and R has a 3rd gen running 11s with the PFC, stock intercooler, stock injectors etc...

I can't wait to see what you do the next time you are at the track. Hmm...a 10 second car. Good luck fine tuning your FD, I guess I'll see you at the track soon. Actually, I haven't seen you for a really long time.

Anthony, long time no see! Great job on your numbers. I'll be down soon to do my clutch, finish A/C removal and start to discuss ordering my t-78 set-up.
