2nd gen 7.. 3rd gen 7.. Turbos HP?

This has ben buggin me for a wile. I have not read or personal seen any fc's with large turbos and producing alot of HP around 500 to 750. I have the impreshion that fc's cant handle big boost or large turbos compared to a FD or big/large period. You hear of evry FD in the neighborhood running a T66 or T78 or T80 and your lucky to hear of a FC with a T3/T04. Fc's with 12lb boost and fd's with 22.

Why is this it is the same motor. Is there no reson you could not run a T66 with 18lbs on a FC?

^high HP FC are out there..most people that own FC' are poor(in other words they are teenagers or younf adults that don't have the funds for HP) or they would own an FD..this is true in most but not in all cases....some who have the money and own FC's just like them more and are not interested in high HP ...also, the availability for turbos for the fc is a problem..there are more for the FD..next is the overall package..the FD is more of a sports car right out of the box. I wish I could find that blue FC that runs in Aussie land..that thing kicks ***...and FC's can handle the boost and the large turbos...paypal me the cash and I will show you

KSP Engineering FC is a 13BT block making over 700ps - easily over 700hp.

I see thanks guys. And understood HP takes alot of cash $$$$$ and most people dont relize that oh wait they drive civics. The FD comparison was a good point if I had enugh out of the box I would defanitly own one. There so flippin hard to find a decent deal on and what you want an low milage and not allready suped up. I want a grandma one that they bought in 95 new and drove it to the grocery store on the weekends. If im not living in japan allready when I have enughg $$$ one day I will import a 99 :-)

The only reason i got myself a FC over a FD is cause of the FC's better handling, their chassi is stiffer in original form so there is potensial for way better handling.. =)

And, i do intend to have 400+ rwhp in it..

i have seen myself results of FD chassi flex in broken welds and so on.. the biggest advantage the FD has is their lighter weight and better looks. And of course the hype it got with the Fast'n the furious..

I can personally show you 2 500+ hp fc's in south florida and one 650+ whp fc on boost and N2o. Fc's out the box, have better handling capabilities than the fd's. And that rich or poor statement is rediculous. I have been able to buy an fd for quite a while and still bought a brand new car and fixed up my fc.. I like the look of an fd and I do admit, it being a new model it does have a better starting point than fc's do, in certain aspects.. 2nd gens are way cheaper than fd's, but fd's arent that expensive. with about 6 or 7 grand you can find some fd's and for about 10 you have a wide selection of them..

I along with many other fc owners, spent more than 6 or 7k on an fc. And are still not done with.

More turbos for and FD vs FC? How so? You can put a turbo on either car. Now there are more manifolds and turbo kits for FD's than FC's. I would have to agree that the majority of FC owners can't afford to do the proper mods to have safe reliable horsepower. There are still some FC's out there that are pushing large numbers, and there are a number of them in Australlia.

fd's handle better 'out of the box' hands down.
They have essentially racecar suspension vs. the fc's struts.
The fc's have the shitty *** dtts in the rear that they all come with 'out of the box' and that system is pure crap. Why do you think most fc racers out there have the dtts eliminator bushings.

That being said, fc's are still more popular racecars than fd's because of the significant difference in the entry price of the two. Fc's are typically cheaper to maintain, less parts to swap out and those parts in general are usually cheaper.
