294rwhp Low?
Garret T04, 60 trim, .81 A/R at 10psi, 7100 rpms, I made 294.00. Does that seem low for a S5 High Compression Street ported engine? AFR's were in the 12's. IIRC the tune is for 15psi, this is what the previous owner said. I couldn't get my Profec S dialed in correctly so I left it up to the wastegate. Which brings me to another point. Wastegate opens at 15psi...then drops down to 10? Huh?

I got a sheet, I'll have my roomate upload it as soon as he can.
7198rpms was the number, sheet shows it pulling until I let off, so maybe I could have pushed it further but I wasn't sure of the AFR's. As far as the timing, I cannot be for sure since the car was built by a shop, and I purchased it from the owner who broke the engine in and then sold it.

You went to that dyno day which uses a Mustang dyno. Mustang dynos read lower then Dynojets. Your car makes more power then 294rwhp. You may also have some sort of boost problem if you wastegate opens at 14psi then it drops to 10. I made 336rwhp at 10psi on my stock REW with a 60-1. You're probably right around there on a Dynojet.
BTW, I saw you on University on Friday. I was my truck going Westbound.

Ahh sweet thankls for the info Rey. Yup, I live at Goldenrod and Aloma. I was headed to Famous Phil's then, turned the corner onto University and gave a little blip of the throttle, those damn rear-toe eliminators make the car slide a little to easy :-P
I failed to mention when I ran on the Dyno today I had my Profec turned off. Could the wastegate be having troubles? Spring maybe? The next time you are planning to go to Fuego's to work on your FD shoot me a PM, I want to stop by there and get the full specs on the turbo and the rest of the car since it was built there, meet a fellow club member and see what kind of beast you're working on now

hey mitch, good job on dynopull, you can dyno tune which is different and that should be able to tell you wattup. it is more expensive, so if a couple of us get together, maybe it would lower cost. i liked your setup[turbo]. i wish i could of dyno but maybe i would have been disappointed or not. going to marc's do you still need parts? call mike or josh and let me know today. rob TII turbonator

the boost problem could be a few things.....
boost leak from a coupling or the bov
exhaust leak between the engine and turbo including faulty wg
if it has a 15psi spring in it and you dont have leaks on the pressure side then you prob have a exh leak between engine and turbo

Something strange happened last night. I turned my Profec on high boost and the wastegate opened at 17psi, I let off immediatly. I then switched to low boost setting and hit 20psi, WTF?
Profec or Wastegate failure?
How do I check a leak between the engine and the turbo?

I made 302 RWHP and 225ft/lnls of TQ with the same turbo at 14.3 psi. The TQ thought starts off at 3,200 RPM's and goes to redline. I definitely need a bigger compressor. This was at CFT's mustang dyno.
