Hey people!
Thought i'd share with you what we here in NZ do with rotaries haha
Turbo conversions have become very popular over the last few years, and i definatly wanted to join in!!
I have a series 3 (gsl-se for you in the states), 1984, had the standard 12a tallport in it when i first got it, ran that for a while, then had that bridgeported, then, it went crazy.
13bt block from a series 6 (batty), to4e turbo, bosch 044 and holley blue pumps, 850/1650cc injectors, -6 and -8 fuel lines throughout, series 5 turbo g'box, hilux diff with 4.3 lsd head, series 6 front calipers with 285mm rotors, series 5 rotors and calipers in the rear, front mount intercooler, 3" piping, full stainless exhaust, 48mm turbosmart wastegate, 14" SPAL radiator fan, gilmore pulleys, blitz BOV, microtech lt10s ECU, custom guages inside... and some other bits and pieces

Heres a few pics...

the 12a bridgy, 48mm IDA

13b block mounted up

fuel rail i made up, -8

you get the idea.
Staying with the stabdard bolck and internals for time being, have some fun then maybe upgrade at a later stage

Going to be fun!!!

i don't think SA/FB's get much play in this forum, but i like what you did. when i think of the Rx-7, i still picture the FBs, so i'm stoked about your project. i also like that you didn't get caught up in that "i must be unique"-nonsense, which is not the same thing as saying you're like everyone else. i'm just saying that you don't exhibit some of the wasted motion that some people seem to equate with being unique. you're doing what works and what makes sense.

if you don't mind, i'd like to see some more of the details of your fuel system - particularly the transitions between stock connections and your AN. did you use a surge tank (swirl pot), and if so, what connections did you use?

i love it!
