13b turbo nocking noise

13b turbo nocking noise

This is the video, the makes the noise only when pushing some boost I was going in 4 gear at the time and half throttle it wasn't even full boost

based on the video alone, it does sound similar to audible pinging/detonation. But normally it would be difficult to knock at part throttle and low boost. It could be some unrelated rattling, something that you would expect from an old car.

HOWEVER... those gauges look like 1st gen gauges. This is a turbo engine with a locked dizzy? Something could be way off with your timing. That pretty much never happens on an FD because it's 100% computer controlled and the crank angle sensor can't really be installed incorrectly. On an FC or 1st gen there are a lot more things to go wrong.

My car never make that noise until I got the engine rebuild
you guys think he might it put non compatible components inside or this is normal

its TIMING. YOU GOT SOMETHING WRONG EXTRALLY. and internally soon. unless you just slapped a turbo on a 12a... seriously though... its knock too much timing/ not enough fuel. got a wideband? get one!
