13b-re spool this turbo

Ok basically I got a 13b-re pulling 8.7-8.8 on all faces so i dont want to tear down to pull out the exhaust sleaves to replace with fd sleaves. The intake ports are already huge. Turbo is a gt42 with .6 ar. Here are pictures of the ports and the turbo

It will definitly spool that turbo. I would worry more about how to fit that bad boy in the engine bay.

I'm all in favor of large turbos and think lag is overrated but that ain't no .6ar turbine......does the compressor wheel and turbine wheel measure up to gt42specs?

Yes it can spool it, and thats not a GT42. But will make good power.

That's a GT42, plain bearing I believe, not the BB CHRA. I've held an identical turbo in my hands. The exhaust sleeves have those restrictors in there which won't help the spool situation any. Let us know how it works out! The biggest issue will be the 5" v-band discharge and reworking the turbine housing.

Yes, it is the same frame turbo and they do share some components, but it's not a GT42.
