I bought a crappy turbo a few weeks ago and sold it two days ago. I bought a remanufactured 13b turbo and intercooler from a friend with that money yesterday. How much of an increase in power will I feel on my 12A with the 13B turbo, I know how I am going to install it and I would just like to know around how much increase will I see in power. You should get a nice increase, but make sure your fuel system is up to par. What do you plan on doing for fuel?

 

They are a good budget upgrade on a 12A, with the exhuast requirements of a 12A less than a 13B they aren't so restricted, so they exhale free'er.

 

A friend of mine did a 13bt hitachi turbo on a friends 85. He had a webber 48 side draft carb and we used the turbonetics box. Then engine was street port and the fuel pump was a weldon also an aeromotive FPR. The turbo spooled up nicely and the hp gains were good. The car ran a 12.3 with the 4:10 rear before NOS with full interior. A friend did the tuning but the car ran really well. I can give you his contact info if you wanna ask him a few questions.

 

Where can I get the webber 48 side draft carb, the turbonetics box, and the fuel pump, thanks, those things sound like it will make it work better.
