Scotty, the 780's are also modified and spray pattern is similar, maybe slightly worse than the 1000's.

Also, I mentioned the wandering spray pattern to Paul and he said he noticed it even on the unmodified injectors as well, so I don't think it is a problem caused by the modification.

Thanks, Aaron. No need to apologize for studying hard: you only get one shot at finals and there is plenty of time to sleep/party/recover/work on cars the week after.

i have the yawpower 1000cc injectors in the primary spot, idel is fine and i dont experience any loops, hickups, or anything bad with them. i just got the car tuned and everything is good.

Here's a link to some of the Honda guys using them and their experience. http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread...00cc+injectors

Updates? New opinions? I need to buy something this week!!!

Call glen at AZRR, he can sell you the yaw 1000's and get you more details about them.

The bosch 1000cc injectors are the best you'll ever get for 1000cc...

Unfortunately Bosch only makes the 1000cc's in the newer "mini" design. Do you think I should make new brakets to make up for the sorter distance and run them in the rails? I'm still stuck between PTE's and RC's...

The shorter bosch 1000's will probably come with top hat adapters to make them the exact same dimension as any standard full length 60mm injector. Just ask about them from whoever you purchase from. Also there are electrical adapters to make the US-car connector go to a standard bosch square plug so you don't need to rewire anything if already running that type..

mono4lamar 01-28-09 03:50 PM

I wish they would come out with a high impedance 1680cc injector... That would solf all our problems!

enzo250 01-28-09 04:32 PM

There are adapters for the "mini" bosch to make them fit into normal bosch setups.

you can also run them with higher fuel pressure and they will flow more...
or just use more 1000cc injectors...

they still havent "come out with" a saturated 1000cc yet.

Funny you should mention the 160lb high, I should have that solved and available very shortly. email me for details as I dont want to jump the gun to much. ;)

They sure did... They have them now....

again, no, they are much smaller injector that was modified, so that is why I say they have not "come out with" one yet. A fair/safe statement would be there is a high 1000cc "available". (The place selling them admitted in this thread that they a modified injector.)

enzo250 01-29-09 08:18 AM

ok... There is an "avaliable" 1000cc sat inj made by bosch..

I would exactly say it's a modified injector though?.
There's an alum adapter to make it fit the correct length/oring size of our injectors..
That's really a modification?

Nowadays most new injectors are going to be smaller and shorter then what were used to..

No, not the hight. When I said "smaller" I didnt mean in physical size, but in flow. They are modified to FLOW 1000cc.

Here is some more info on the 1000's.. www.injectordynamics.com

the yawpowers flow/response look to be exceptionally linear (according to their website). Wouldn't this make tuning easier?

Exactly. That is one of the reasons these injectors have been getting such great response from the honda crowd. I can't begin to express how much easier it was to tune the transition on my car when I put ID 1000's in the secondaries. Plus I've heard of a couple guys swapping their stock civic injectors out for these and idle is just as good..

KrisD1 02-07-09 06:26 AM

How much whp can you support with 550cc primaries and 1000cc secundaries? Or do you guys run other primaries?

boostinfc3s 02-07-09 06:45 AM

i use the RC's

fritts 04-09-09 06:39 PM

So in a low impedance injector what would be the best you can get around the 1000 cc range. The lucas's I'm running seem to always have sticking problems on initial startup after any time sitting. I found the below low imp injectors around that range. Not sure who they are made by or what type of pattern they have. Any thoughts?

I've been talking to Tony from T1 and I'll be going with 1000ccs. He gave me nothing but great feedback on his experience with these injectors.

1000cc will be the biggest offering for quite some time. The good thing about these is they can safely operate at very high fuel pressures. You can run 100psi safely with these, and at that they're 1525cc/min. We've made over 800whp on a Honda with 4 of these at 100psi base fuel pressure.

Rotarys are much less efficient with fuel, so you can't make that much, but you can still get 1500+cc/min of fuel out of them with the right pump setup.
