Bomex kit fitment on S4

I've been looking for an S5, but I recently found a decent S4 for a good price. My plan is to put the Bomex kit on it, but I've heard conflicting reports about the fit. Does anyone know if the Bomex kit will fit properly? If not, where does it not line up and how much modification is necessary?

it says on that link that it fits the 86-92 rx-7's, so either tlhey are interchangeible, or they have the two types of kits for the s4 and s5, either way i think you would get one that fits otherwise they would not advertise it that way
hope it works out

if you search for the username "JayBR" he's posted pics of the car he built for his daughter, it's a S4.

I'm trying to find it now, but searching is taking a ******* year.

Of course as soon as I bitch, **** shows up.

Bomex+S4+east bear+repaint.

It'd look better IMO with shaved side moldings...

Hey bro! Thanks for the pic man...haven't seen that one yet. Is it me or does it look lower in the back than it is in the front?

Nope, now that you point that out, I see it too! Never noticed that before...

dude if you scroll down there are pictures for the fitment issues for 86-88 s4. Please read the stuff before you post abotu it. If you did you would see that there are gaps and stuff for the s4 with the front bumper. The kit is ment for a s5.

Not to mention if you look at the kit in the picture above, you can see the kit is meant for S5 molding as well.

Well I did a little photoshopping to get the kit more to my liking and see what it would look like. I pulled the back wheels out a little, turned the car black, lowered it a bit more, got the front and back even, too off the headlight kit, added a scoop, and added FTPs (I will be moulding these into the Bomex kit...it just doesn't look right without them).

I'm pretty sure the Bomex front also requires you to use S5 turn signals.

looks good but two things... Form this pic the bumper makes the car look like the front end is too high and the air dam up front is tiny

I think thats more a result of the suspension and the angle of the shot. It looks to me like he lowered the back but not the front. I've seen several pics of the same kit on properly lowered cars and it looks nothing like that.

For some reason that just looks like someone threw a ford probe body kit in an fc...imo...Doesn't match up well or follow the body contours at all. Plus that east bear headlight kit really fuglies it up.....I really like the pop up's is all...

The skirts are fantastic in my book...the front end is great also...ON AN MR2 (SW20) but just not the FC. Just doesn't quite line up right and the East Bear lights with this just makes me wanna cry . It really does depend on the color of the car though...the red car they use isn't too bad looking, I saw more pics of a black car which looks good also...but this...yea.
